“Celebration of Humanity”

Tells the story of P.T. Barnum on how he created a show that would be a sensation. Hugh Jackman took the lead as P.T. Barnum, Zac Efron as Phillip Carlyle, Michelle Williams as Charity Barnum, Rebecca Ferguson as Jenny Lind and Zendaya as Anne Wheeler.

Hugh Jackman once again showed his remarkable acting and singing. While Zac is once more back for a musical after his performance in High School Musical. Michelle Williams perfectly matches to play as Charity and showed her ability to sing. Rebecca Ferguson also gives a stunning performance and Zendaya proved her acting skill to another level after playing in Spider-Man: Homecoming and K.C Undercover series of Disney.

This film is Michael Gracey’s debut. The film starts its production in 2009. Due to the musical theme, the film took quite a long time to be made. Michael is accomplished to give the audience a huge big smile and happy tears. The film is not only an ordinary musical but indeed a film of joy and happiness.

All the songs and choreography are well thought, exciting and amazing. The music was created by John Debney and Trapane and the Original Song were written by (who won Oscar Best Original Song for La La Land).

The film has received 6 awards so far. Including 3 Golden Globe nominations; Best Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy, Best Actor- Musical or Comedy for Hugh Jackman and Best Original Song (This Is Me)

This film is entertaining and inspiring. With many messages, such as believing in dreams, accepting who we are, love, anti racism. One thing for sure, this film is a celebration of humanity through creative wat. This film is indeed the best film for the new year!
