Taken from the real life tragedy of Sully Sullenberger who’s in January 2009 put an emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River, in which all 155 passengers and crew survived with only minor injuries, and the subsequent publicity and investigation. This landing has become a legend in the world of flying. Sully that was supposed to be praised as a hero is being questioned about his decision to land at the Hudson River. Does it have any better choice?

Based on a memoir written by Chesley Sullenberger and Jeffrey Zaslow called Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters. Good acting, good editing, good directing, good script. What could possibly go wrong? One big question why’s this film not on the list to run in Golden Globes or on the list of Academy Award? On which the film actually got one nomination and still to be announced in the Best Sound Editing category. Still too little for such an amazing film.

Directed by one and only director, Clint Eastwood and starring Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks, this film is able to bring to the big screen what happened on January 15, 2009. Able to make the list of one of its ten Movies of the Year by The American Film Institute and grossed over 238.5 million dollars! Flashbacks from the day the plane landed at the Hudson River to the day after the event happened. With good editing and good execution do not ever think to skip watching this film guys!

This film able to bring the audience to feel the tense what Sully feels. Tom Hanks himself able to bring the character of Sully to the big screen. With good sound, the film is a thrilling experience for everybody that would like to know what is exactly happened on that plane on January 15, 2009! (Anna Rose)
