This film follows Christian Wolf a hit man masked behind his work as an accountant who has autism syndrome. He has to solve this one special case while being hunted by Raymond King, the director of FinCEN in the Treasury Department with the help of Marybeth Medina. And between his complicated world, he found love in awkward but funny Dana Cummings.

Director Gavin O’Connor famous for Tumbleweeds is back with an extraordinary action film! This film shows many flashbacks in many of the scenes make the audience questioned: “What’s next?” “Who’s this?” “Who’s that?” makes this film more interesting. And many twists in the entire film shows how the script is well written and executed by both Bill Dubuque and Gavin O’Connor. And the fighting choreography that many Hollywood films looked to is Chinese Martial Arts, this time Indonesian Martial Arts; Pencak Silat is chosen as the main character’s fighting ability. Refreshing!

Academy award winning actor and director Ben Affleck is back after played the role as Batman this year. But, this time Affleck portrait a character with autism. Anna Kendrick who is famous for her role as Beca Mitchell in Pitch Perfect became leading actress in this film. While Academy Award winning actor J.K Simmons played as Raymond King director of FinCEN in the Treasury Department. And Jon Bernthal played as the brother of Ben Affleck’s character. While Cynthia Addai-Robinson took the part as Marybeth Medina an agent who helped Raymond King find Christian Wolf.

From the first time the film starts, we know that this movie has this kinda dark feeling yet interesting in a good way. This film gives the audience flashbacks of its main character who we knew to have autism. This 128 minutes film with its total grossing 128.8 million dollars from the budget of 44 million dollars could give us reasons to have its sequel. Because rather than Affleck's Batman Vs Superman 2016 this film is so much better. Especially the awkward moment between Anna Kendricks’s character meet Affleck’s character. The director knows how to bring the audience burst to laugh. The question already set from the beginning of the film made the audience curious till the end of it. Ben Affleck’s character able to portrait this character incredibly and made the audience feel his emotions and how hard his character tries to express feeling.

We know this film is dark but yet still inspiring. You may ask what so inspiring about this hit man accountant film? In the end of the film, this film shows that kids with autism or syndrome similar to it could have a normal life or the right word EXTRAORDINARY one.

This film should be the next franchise like Mission Impossible, Jason Bourne, and Jack Reacher. Because this film has brought the new genre of action film into a whole new different level! Hope to see this action yet inspiring film in more years to come!! (Anna Rose)
