ISENMA Announced 5 Nominations for Best Film

International Student, Newcomer, and Woman Movie Awards (ISENMA) is back in Jakarta. Festival that focuses on films directed by newcomer announced its Best Film nomination. This festival has received 250 films since the festival opens its submission last year.
Here are the nominees for Best Film of ISENMA 2016:
Forgiveness, directed by Rima Irani
Rigoberta Menchú: Daughter of the Maya, directed by Dawn Engle
The Healing of Heather Garden, directed by Judith Morrow
There was a place, directed by Irene Garces
The Queen, directed by Hugo Teugels

The festival that is centered in Indonesia, will invite many filmmakers to its Awards Ceremony. Forgiveness short film from Lebanon directed by Rima Irani is on the list of nominees this year. The Queen from Belgium directed by Hugo Teugels is an experimental film about a person who meets another person that makes the character realize there’s something wrong about him. While documentary film from Canada, The Healing of Heather Garden, tells a story about a wonderful individual Heather Garden that has inspired Canada or even the world.

The winner will be announced in the middle of November celebrating the World Tolerance Day in Bali and Jakarta.

This festival is held with People’s Creative Council, iHebat International Volunteers, World Film Council, and Radio Republic of Indonesia (RRI) as media partner and organizer. (TFR)
